Finally we can see our choices start to work together in one place….loving the stripped doors, chrome fittings and still cant get over that fireplace…!!

Finally we begin to look like we could move back into the lounge and not just use it as a demolition site…and this is only the lining paper

well it looked good in the brochures but it is amazing in the front room…superb cast iron and oak with brilliant fitting from the local boys…and then the papering began…

Let the painting begin…
the first coat went well and waiting to see how the second one dries…some great roller splatters too

a little paste and patience and before you know it the lining paper is holding up well..!

I am feeling quite proud of the success i had with the plane…angle saw…drill…etc to finish off the curtain bar above the new windows Continuing this burst of energy we went on to reclaim an original door lock and add new chrome handles to finish the acid stripped doors nicely…only 4 more to go now then.

Carpet right indeed…a little jaunt out to pick up supplies and order the carpet…we now have almost everything in place just waiting for fitting…just the door handles to go now…homebase you better not let us down!!
